Silico Manganese
Silicon Manganese is an alloy of manganese, silicon and iron. It is a cost- effective blend of manganese and silicon and is normally the product of choice for steel manufacturers. Ferro Silico Manganese can be used as a substitute for Ferro Silicon and Ferro Manganese when added to make different types of steel. Silicon manganese alloy is an alloy composed of manganese, silicon, iron and a small amount of carbon and other elements. It is an iron alloy with a wide range of uses and a large output.
Grades : SiMn 60/14, 65/15, 65/16, 65/17
Ferro Mangenese
Ferro Manganese is produced by reduction of Manganese Oxide in blast furnaces or electric furnaces. Manganese is intentionally present in most grades of steel and is a residual constituent of virtually all others. Ferro Manganese is primarily an alloy of manganese and iron. It contains a high content of manganese and used in steel products wherein silicon content needs to be controlled at low levels.
Grade : HcFeMn/McFeMn/LcFeMn
Ferro Silicon
Ferro Silicon is an alloy of iron and silicon. Ferrosilicon is produced by reduction of silica or sand with coke in the presence of iron. Ferro Silicon (FeSi) is used as a source of silicon to reduce metals from their oxides and to deoxidize steel and other ferrous alloys. This prevents loss of carbon (C) from the molten steel (so called blocking the heat. In the manufacture of cast iron, ferrosilicon is used for inoculation of the iron to accelerate graphitization. Ferrosilicon is also important as an additive to cast irons for controlling the initial content of silicon.
Grades : FeSi 65%, 70%, 72% , 75%
Ferro Chrome
Ferro Chrome is an alloy of iron and chromium. Chromium content varies between 50 and 70% depending on the origin of the material. Its melting point is 1400° approx. for high carbon and 1620° for low carbon. We can offer high carbon to very low carbon, as well as nitrided Ferro Chrome and special grades: low Ti, low P, etc. Ferrochrome production is essentially a carbothermic reduction operation taking place at high temperatures. Chrome Ore (an oxide of chromium and iron) is reduced by coal and coke to form the iron-chromium alloy. Ferrochrome is often classified by the amount of carbon and chrome it contains. Low Carbon Ferro Chrome is widely used in steel and foundry industry. Having the low percentage of carbon, it is used to regulate the amount of chromium without disturbing the ratios of other components like carbon, silicon, etc.
Grade : HcFeCr/LcFeCr
